Golden Circle Safari & Lava Caving

Golden Circle Safari & Lava Caving is a special made tour just for those who loves caves as well as waterfalls and such.

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Reykjavik with our modified super jeep and up to the Blue Mountains we go to visit a mysterious cave called Leiðarendi. We will crawl and explore every tunnel to discover lava formations as well as stalagmites and stalactites.

Next stop would be to National Park Thingvellir where you can visit the place where the two tectonic plates meets and drifts apart. Thingvellir is also the only UNESCO’s cultural-heritage site in the entire Iceland. Then head to the world-renowned geothermal area in Geysir. From there we will continue to Gullfoss waterfalls also called the golden waterfalls. And from Gullfoss we will be crossing on rivers as we take the 1000 river road as we drive over Hellisheiði Mountain to take a glimpse at the new geothermal power plant before heading back to Reykjavik.

From Gullfoss we will blast through the 1000 rivers mountain track on our super jeep, crossing the river several times. We will race through the lava fields of the dormant volcanoes and get an up close and personal feel for the Icelandic nature. Finally we drive over the Hellisheiði mountain seeing the new geothermal power plant before reaching Reykjavík again.
