Snæfellsnes National Park
DAY TOUR – Snæfellsnes is an amazing place to visit with black sand beaches, carved out rock formations, old fishing villages, birdlife, lava fields, sea cliffs, glacier and much more.
This day tour is a combination of a scheduled bus tour and a guided tour. You will visit the most interesting sites on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, which are many. One can say that on this day tour you get to see and experience a little bit of everything Iceland has to offer.
You will enter a scheduled bus in the morning from Reykjavík, heading to the peninsula. At 10:55 your local guide will join the group on the bus. He/she will take you to the most interesting places on the Snæfellsnes peninsula and show you many beautiful sites. In the afternoon, at 16:15, the guide will leave the bus and you will continue the tour back to Reykjavík.
On this tour you will see lava fields, amazing sea cliffs, the beautiful Arnarstapi, black sand beaches, carved out rock formations, fishing villages, birdlife, waterfalls, mountains and many other beautiful natural treasures. You will also see the famous Snæfellsjökull glacier, the entrance to the center of the earth according to Jules Verne.
You will have a chance to walk between Arnarstapi and Hellnar through a lava field and get very close to the ocean cliffs. The National Park Visitor Ceter is located at Hellnar where you can get information about the pak and its wonders.

Daily departures at 8:00 am from Harpa music & conference hall. Pick up from accommodation starts at 7:30 am.
