The Golden Circle: Thingvellir National Park

Þingvellir National Park – a UNESCO cultural world heritage site- is one of the stops on this tour. In the park you will find the only two tectonic rift valleys in the world. The sites is beautiful throughout the year, has an historical importance to Icelanders and the scenery is one of a kind.

The Golden Circle: Geysir geothermal field

Geysir geothermal area is another site on the route. It is one of the oldest Geysers in the world. Most popular is Strokkur that erupts every 5 min or so. For most people this is one of the highlights in their visit to Iceland. Next stop is Gullfoss that is only 9 km away from Geysir.

The Golden Circle: Gullfoss waterfall

Final stop in the Golden Circle tour is Gullfoss waterfall. It is a world famous 32 m high waterfall. You can get so close to the waterfall that you can feel the spray from the waterfall in your face.
