What is unique with this tour?

The main mission is to combine various activities into one tour, so the northern lights will surely be great to see, but they are more like a bonus. You can go to this tour and you will love it even if you dont see the northern lights. You are also far out in the highlands of Iceland so there are for sure no light pollution.

The northern lights: What is great with this tour?

What is great with this tour is the combination of various activities and all the unspoiled nature you can see in only 2 days – and then in the end of the trip we will hopefully be lucky enough to see the northern lights, but it is difficult to know as it is all based on weather condition and solar activity. You will see a black sand beach close to Skógarfoss waterfall, you will hike on Solheimarjökull glacier, try out Stakkholtsgjá canyon, sleep at Básar chalets, cross a glacier lagoon at Gígjökull, see some lava caves at Blue Moutain, strap on some crampons (spikes for the soles of our shoes) and so much more. There will then be a option to stop a local seafood restaurant at Eyrarbakki village in the end of the trip after we have seen the northern lights.
